Key Competences for Lifelong Learning

Het Europese Parlement heeft in december een aanbeveling gepubliceerd waarin de sleutelcompetenties voor levenslang leren worden beschreven, als richtlijn voor onderwijssystemen in Europa.

In het document 'Keycompetences for Lifelong Learning' worden 8 sleutelcompetenties beschreven:

• Communication in the mother tongue;
• Communication in foreign languages; 
• Mathematical competence and basic competences in science and technology; 
• Digital competence; 
• Learning to learn; 
• Social and civic competences; 
• Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship; and 
• Cultural awareness and expression.
